Health Fair

What is it?
The 2018 Health & Benefit Fair for Labor is a free event that helps attendees learn about and embrace lifestyle choices that will help them live healthier and more satisfying lives.

Where is it?
The 2018 Fair will be held at the US Bank Stadium in Downtown Minneapolis.

When is it?
April 21, 2018 from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Can anyone attend?
Attendance is open to all working families.

Can I bring my family?
Absolutely, there is education and activitiy for the entire family.

How much does it cost?
Admission is free; however you will need to pay for parking at one of the nearby ramps or public transportation. There are costs for purchasing food and beverages at the concession stand.

Will there be food?
Many of the Union Fund areas have food and beverages for their members. You must show the correct color wristband for admittance to these areas. There will also be a concession stand open where you can purchase food.

How do I register for prizes?
Look for the information desk as you come into the lobby of the stadium. There you will receive a wrist band identifying your fund and the prize entry form. Simply fill out the form and deposit it in the collection box found in your fund area.

Drawings will be held throughout the day and winners will be posted on the prize boards.

Why don't you announce prizes over the stadium sound system?
We make a lot of announcements, and using the stadium sound system disrupts conversations that are taking place in booths. Our sponsors have paid to be at the event, and we give them the courtesy of not talking over their conversations.

Why do I have to be present to win prizes?
It is simply time-consuming and costly to take all unclaimed prizes back to a storage facility, then contact all the winners and make arrangements for them to pick up prizes. Any prizes not claimed within 30 minutes of their announcement and posting on the prize board will roll over to the next drawing.

There are a lot of stairs in the stadium. Are there elevators for us to use?
Yes. Stadium personnel wil direct you to elevators that will take you from the entrance level to the field level.

Are there stadium tours?
You can get a free stadium tour ticket with the donation of $10 or 3 food items per person at The Food Group collection site as you enter the field. Limit of 2 tickets per family.

Many of the fund areas also purchase tickets as prizes. Please check with your specific fund.

Tour tickets will also be available at the LMHCC booth for $10 each (normally $25).

Where is Lost and Found?
During the event, any lost items are taken to the registration desk. Once the desk is closed at 2 p.m., all lost items are given to the stadium security office.
